Mechanism
CJC-1295 with DAC is a long-acting analogue of growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). A Drug Affinity Complex covalently binds circulating albumin, greatly extending the half-life compared with native GHRH. It stimulates pituitary GH and downstream IGF-1 through the GHRH receptor, and in research or reported-use contexts is often combined with a ghrelin-receptor agonist.
