How it works
The endotoxin in the checked amount is the content per mg multiplied by the amount in mg. The reference limit follows the USP K/M approach: a per-kilogram threshold times body weight. Most parenteral routes use 5 EU/kg; intrathecal administration uses a far stricter 0.2 EU/kg. The result shows the dose as a percentage of that limit.
These are reference thresholds for orientation, not a quality-control assay. A real release decision needs a validated LAL test and a certificate of analysis.
